This course really made consolidations click for me. It gave me a whole new way of looking at intercompany transactions; how to approach them, how to think through the journal entries, and most importantly, how they flow through and impact the financial statements. I don't think I fully understood that connection before, but now it makes so much more sense. One of the biggest wins for me was finally being able to calculate goodwill correctly. Consolidations are not as difficult as other review courses make it out to be. There are just many layers. Jack's explanations made the topics easier to understand.

I liked that this course forced me to use excel. I sucked at it and I found myself using it much more effectively because of the TBS work.  This stuff is  a lot simpler than your realize. I just wish I found this sooner.
