This course really made consolidations click for me. It gave me a whole new way of looking at intercompany transactions; how to approach them, how to think through the journal entries, and most importantly, how they flow through and impact the financial statements. I don't think I fully understood that connection before, but now it makes so much more sense. One of the biggest wins for me was finally being able to calculate goodwill correctly.
